Awesome cake deserves awesome cake stand
This was a cake my aunt ordered from a local bakery for a party she was throwing at her house but the cake stand is all mine! Any awesome cake deserves an equally awesome cake stand. It helps showcase the cake! Plus, check out the cupcakes too! This dessert bar definitely rocks the yummy list!

Custom made wedding tags
Another great find on etsy.com! Custom made wedding tags are a great idea for a wishing tree, packages for out of town guests, part of party favors and can also be made with coordinating items for your wedding. My personal favorite would be to use it on a wishing tree, have people write the bride an groom a little wish on the backside for later! seller on etsy is littlestationaryco. I am sure that if you are interested I have wonderful friends in the Tulsa Wedding Society who could also provide you with matching place cards, wishing tree cards, favor tags, menus, programs and on and on!

Rachael's Ramon-Pepin Wedding Reception
I am so excited for my dear friend Rachael's wedding reception this weekend! I will be helping her set up tomorrow and the reception is on Saturday, Dec. 19th. the crazy girl decided to elope and get married in Eureka Springs (late October) but fortunately she is having a reception here in town right before the holidays so that her family and friends can celeberate her marriage. I ordered awesome satin table runners and the color is sooooo Rachael, she picked out venitian blue, its like a good solid rich blue. I am really excited to see how good its all going to look when it gets put together. I hope to post pictures next week, so check back!

Yaffe Wedding Rehearsal at the Barn
I was so excited to be contacted my wedding planner Erica Scott on the rehearsal dinner for this bride. This was my first time doing a delivery at the Barn so I was very curious as to what it would look like. It was literally a barn, but it was awesome! Well maintained and NO horses, don't worry, its not used for it's barn qualities any longer. The theme was a classy western/country, really hard to explain. The weather was great for mid November, not freezing at all. The good thing about events out at the Barn is that the proceeds go to charity! Unfortunately, I only handled the rentals for the rehearsal because the venue for the actual wedding was held at Camp Loughridge and they already provide eveything. Eitherway, one of my good friends Paula, who owns Paper Girl invitations store provided the invitations for this wedding and Erica coordinated it, so I know all around it was a fabulous wedding.

Erica Stephenson Scott Wedding at Five Oaks
I loved EVERYTHING about this wedding! The bride, the vendors she chose (like me!) and the actual party! I had the pleasure to not only provide the rentals and white dance floor for this bride, but I also have had the pleasure to work with her on other weddings, as she is the fabulous Erica Scott of Erica Weddings!
Erica talked me into purchasing the white dance floor, by far the largest expense yet the largest success for Dress My Event. I took the risk and it paid off all thanks to Erica!
I also attended the wedding as a guest and it has been the best wedding I've been too (of course in addition to MY wedding!) by far! I had such a great time....until the wedding was over and it was time to clean up!
This girl knows how to throw a wedding! Check her out at http://www.erica-weddings.com/ and check out my white dance floor!
Leal-Stall Wedding at Dresser Mansion
I met the bride, Lori Leal, through her mom whom I used to work with back in my office days! Such a sweet family all the way around! Lori picked navy as her linens, gold overlays and white centerpeices. It was simple yet elegant, just like the bride! I got to the Dresser Mansion as early as possible and started laying out the linens, overlays and unpacking the vases. Lori picked white hydrangeas and lilies for her centerpeices and they added a nice touch!
I hope Lori and her new husband Jacob had a FUNtastic wedding and I wish them the best of luck on their year long trip to China!
